Why Go Diapered Without Pants/Shorts?

Being home alone while my parents have been out of town the past week, I have cemented my belief that it is best not to wear pants or shorts over your diaper.

My current situation has helped me cement this belief because I haven’t been wearing anything over my diaper most of the time. I’ve walked and lounged around my house and on my porch and even gone out in my front yard in just my diaper and a shirt (when I go to work and to the store, I still wear pants, of course). Doing this, I have noticed that my diaper feels more comfortable and seems to absorb more. Also, it is easier to check how full it is and make sure it’s not leaking.

The Best Drugstore Diaper

When I first started wearing diapers, all I had access to were what I call drugstore diapers. I’m talking about the ones you can buy in America at drugstore chains like CVS and Walgreens. This category also includes the diapers you can buy at grocery stores and dollar stores.

I did a lot of hunting around these stores and their websites in my early years of self-diapering, trying to find the best diaper for the best price. I was a broke teenager when I started, after all. I want to share my findings, in case you’re in a similar situation as I was, where I couldn’t order online and had little money.

Diaper Ranking

In this post, I will rank my top 5 diapers and explain the ranking of each by referencing others. In future posts, I will review the diapers individually and detail their benefits and drawbacks.

#1: MoliCare Slip Super Plus

#2: Prevail Air Stretchable Briefs

#3: Tranquility ATN

#4: Abena Abri-Flex Premium M3

#5: Abena Abri-Form M4

The MoliCare Slip comes in at #1 for me, barely beating the Prevail, which it does for two main reasons. First, the MoliCare has leak guards, whereas the Prevail does not. Second, I am on my first pack of the Prevails, whereas I have been buying the MoliCares and using them as my primary diaper for around eight months; in other words, I have to consider that I may be on a temporary high with the Prevails.

Hi, I’m the Diaper Demigod!

Welcome to my blog! As it says above, I’m the Diaper Demigod (I’m not going to use my real name for privacy reasons). If the name makes it sound like I have a big ego, don’t worry; my main goal in coming up with a name was alliteration! Anyway, I am a diaper lover. I’m hoping to create an interesting blog centered around adult diapers. My target audience will be other diaper lovers like me, but anyone who wears adult diapers is sure to find some interesting posts here.
